The 30th Annual Awards which celebrate outstanding collaborations between the business and cultural sectors, will be held in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Thursday 23rd March 2017. Every year Wasps Studios hosts an artist in Glasgow as part of the Dusseldorf Exchange. Wasps provides support in the form of a workspace and and living accommodation. The project was at risk of being cancelled this year due to a lack of funds. Alterledger was pleased to have the opportunity to support the Anna Lobner Glasgow / Dusseldorf Exchange in 2016. The exchange enabled German artist Klara Paterok to live and work in Glasgow for two months. As a result of this collaboration between Wasps and Alterledger the two organisations have been shortlisted for the Arts & Business Scotland International Award. For the full details of all the categories please refer to the Arts and Business website.
Alterledger specialises in accounts and business advice for the arts and wider creative industries so being shortlisted for the International Awards is a great honour. We look forward to the evening whoever wins the award!
