Collabor8te is a coworking space in the heart of Glasgow.  Although the building is closed at the moment, they are still supporting the business community in Glasgow and across Scotland.  Collabor8te are putting on a free webinar to provide some answers on the COVID-19 business support measures that have been announced over the last few weeks.

The interactive webinar will be delivered by zoom on Friday 1st May at 9:00.

How to sign up for the webinar

Sign up for the session from the Eventbrite page.   The webinar is free and open to members and non-members of Collabor8te alike.

Can I ask questions ahead of the session?

We have set up a Slido page so you can ask questions on COVID-19 Business Support.  These questions will help to make the webinar as relevant as possible.  Questions can be asked anonymously.  There is no need to log in or register with Slido so no personal information will be shared with Alterledger or Collabor8te unless you include it in the question.

Go to Slido and add the event code Alterledger20200501 when prompted or click on the image below to be taken straight to the questions.

Will the session be interactive?

From the same Slido link, you will also be able to take part in a few live polls.  As above all the polls are anonymous and you don’t need to register to take part.  The Slido session is not connected to your Eventbrite booking so you don’t have to share any personal information.

What topics will be covered?

Tim will summarise some of the supports and grants available to business of all sizes in Scotland from a sole trader / freelancer to a company with VAT and staff.  Topics include, small business grants, Self-employment Income Support Scheme, furloughed workers, and the recently announced newly self-employed grant.

If you would like to hear about a specific topic that isn’t included above, please post a question on the Slido page.
