In a surprise announcement from
Receipt Bank Dext, the branding and log in details for the online service changed today.
If you previously used the following web address to log in to Receipt Bank, it should still work for the moment https://app.receipt-bank.com/login – but as Receipt Bank is now Dext you will see other changes including a new log in page https://app.dext.com/en/login
Your user ID (your own email address) and your password are unchanged for Dext. These details have been carried over from Receipt Bank.
It might look like half a word but according to their marketing team:
“Dext is a fusion of two words: the dexterity that accountants and bookkeepers bring to their clients’ challenges and the next generation attitude that so many have.”
Until now you would have used your personal Receipt Bank email-in address for bills and invoices to be scanned by the online software. The rebranding to Dext means that your new email ends dext.cc The means where you previously used [your.name]@receiptbank.me you will need to use [your.name]@dext.cc
Any documents you send to the old receiptbank.me address should still be processed “for the next couple of years”, but now is a good time to start using the new email.
If you haven’t been emailing bills to Receipt Bank, it is an ideal opportunity to start doing this now to get the most out of the product.
To find or change your email-in address from the ‘My Details’ section of the ‘My Profile’ menu.
You should update your phone regularly to make sure all your apps are up to date. The next time you do this your Receipt Bank app will automatically change to the Dext branding.
The good news is that you don’t need to do anything to keep your connection to Xero. All the existing settings and permissions will be transferred to your new Dext service.
